How Much Will it Cost?

‘Skill for Life’ programme

This costs £99 which includes the IAM Advanced Driving Test fee, one year’s membership of the IAM as an Associate member with an automatic upgrade to IAM Full membership on passing the Test within one year, one year’s membership of our Group as an Associate member, the IAM driving manual the IAM driving magazine, which is published 3 times per year, and FREE observed drives.

For those under 26 the IAM has discounted the cost by £20 to £79 and our Group have discounted it by a further £19 so making the net cost £60.

‘DriveCheck’ assessment

This costs £25 and entitles you to one year’s membership of the IAM as an Associate member and one day’s membership of our Group as an Associate member. You will also receive a copy of the IAM driving magazine which is published 3 times per year.

After your DriveCheck assessment you can enrol on the IAM ‘Skill for Life’ programme and if you apply within 30 days of your DriveCheck assessment the cost will be £74 instead of £99.

You may also join online, directly with the IAM.  You will then have the option of choosing any Advanced Driving group in the UK, not just Ipswich & District.
